En la mitología griega, Hiperbórea era una región bendecida por una primavera eterna. Situada, muy probablemente, al norte de Tracia, esta tierra disfrutaba de un clima perpetuamente benigno y soleado. Se cuenta que los hiperbóreos eran inmortales y de temperamento alegre.
En 2010, el perfumista florentino Lorenzo Villoresi creó Iperborea, un floral suave que es radiante, húmedo y aterciopelado a un tiempo. Esta gentil eau de toilette bien podría ser el bebé de Teint de Neige y Un Bateau pour Capri.
Iperborea abre fresco y chispeante de cítricos antes de adquirir un definido carácter floral aduraznado. Los matices acuosos de la mimosa y lo afelpado del durazno, jugando juntos, proveen un contraste interesante si bien sutil. La mezcla evoluciona luego hacia la característica base atalcada y almizclada que marca la mayoría de las creaciones de Villoresi; pero si Teint de Neige es una intangible nube de polvo, el táctil Iperborea es todo algodón suave, pétalos sedosos y piel de durazno. El resultado? Un perfume delicado y muy femenino que evoca una perpetua primavera.

Lorenzo Villoresi Iperborea – Gentle breeze of Spring
In Greek mythology Hyperborea was a region blessed with eternal Spring. Situated, most likely, north of Thracia this land enjoyed perpetually sunny and benign weather. The Hyperboreans were said to be immortal and of happy temperament.
In 2010 Florentine perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi created Iperborea, a soft floral that is simultaneously radiant, dewy and velvety. This gentle eau de toilette could very well be the baby of Teint de Neige and Un Bateau pour Capri.
Iperborea opens fresh and sparkling with citrus before acquiring a defined peachy floral character. The watery hints of mimosa and the fuzziness of peach, playing together, provide an interesting but subtle contrast. The blend then evolves towards the characteristic musky powdery drydown which is almost a trademark of Villoresi; but if Teint de Neige is an intangible cloud of powder, the tactile Iperborea is all soft cotton, silky petals and peach skin. The result? A delicate and very feminine fragrance that evokes a perpetual Spring.
