“Misia se sitúa en el centro del gusto francés como el obelisco de Luxor en el eje de los Campos Elíseos” – Paul Morand
Misia Sert (1872-1950), “la Reine de Paris“, hizo las veces de musa a eminentes músicos y pintores, fue una talentosa pianista ( tuvo a Fauré por maestro), fue árbitro de estilo e influyente mecenas. Era, también, amiga cercana de Coco Chanel con quien compartía el hábito de consumir morfina.
Compuesta por Olivier Polge (el hijo de Jacques), Misia en versión eau de toilette se sumó a la línea Les Exclusifs de Chanel en 2015. Floral atalcado evocador de aromas de lápiz labial y polvos faciales, es un sueño hecho realidad para los nostálgicos ¿Qué podría ser más delicioso que el olor de unas atalcadas violetas? Quizás la combinación de esas mismas flores con rosa de mayo e iris…la pócima avivada por una jugosa nota de frambuesa. La rosa en Misia resulta tan luminosa como sombrías las violetas. El cuero refuerza el maravilloso contraste de la mezcla, ya que oscurece aún más a Misia e impide que el carácter se torne frívolo o coqueto; no es, sin embargo, un cuero duro al estilo ruso, la textura se mantiene aterciopelada, más relacionada con su par español. El dulzor ahumado del benjuí suma peculiaridad a una base reconfortante (vainilla, tonka, almizcle). Excelente longevidad para una eau de toilette y amplio sillage.
Recomendadísimo para amantes de las rosas-violetas retro en la línea de La Rose de Rosine, Bulgari Pour Femme, Citizen Queen, Lipstick Rose, Putain des Palaces y Broadway Nite.

Misia Sert (1872-1950), “la Reine de Paris“, was muse to eminent musicians and painters, a talented pianist (she counted Fauré as her teacher), an arbiter of taste and influential patron of the arts. She was a also close friend of Coco Chanel with whom she shared a morphine habit.
Composed by Olivier Polge (Jacques‘ son), Misia eau de toilette joined the Chanel Les Exclusifs range in 2015. A powdery floral that evokes the scents of lipstick and face powder, it is a dream come true for us nostalgics. What could be more delicious than the smell of powdery violets? Perhaps the combination of those same flowers with May rose and iris…the whole concoction brightened up by a juicy raspberry note. The rose in Misia is as luminous as the violets are dusky. Leather reinforces the wonderful contrast of the mix, as it darkens Misia even more and prevents it from becoming frivolous or coquettish; it is not, however, a hard leather in the Russian style, its texture is velvety, more akin its Spanish counterpart. The smoky sweetness of benzoin adds intricacy to the comforting base (vanilla, tonka bean, musk). Excellent longevity for an eau de toilette and ample sillage.
A must-try for lovers of retro rose-violets such as La Rose de Rosine, Bulgari Pour Femme, Citizen Queen, Lipstick Rose, Putain des Palaces and Broadway Nite.
