Nuit Étoilée fue creado por Isabelle Doyen, nariz in-house de Annick Goutal, y lanzado en 2012. Su nombre poético y el frasco azul cobalto, evocador de un claro de luna, logran una combinación difícil de resistir.
La salida es chispeante con notas de cidra, naranja dulce y menta piperita. La fragancia parece titilar, oscilando entre la calidez de la naranja y la frescura de la menta, dándonos una sensación equivalente al morder un medallón de chocolate a la menta, donde cada elemento realza las cualidades de su contrario.
Ráfagas balsámicas y resinosas soplan a través de este eau de toilette dando imagen, con sus pinceladas, a un bosque nocturno. El verdor de la menta, intensificado por pino siberiano y abeto balsámico, nos lleva a caminar sobre suelo húmedo, cubierto con hojas secas y agujas de pino (estas últimas muestran un aspecto casi acaramelado). La presencia de haba tonka -siempre reconfortante- brinda tranquilidad en esta tierra extraña.
Extrañamente fascinante, Nuit Étoilée ya se sumó – junto con Ormonde Woman, Memoir Man y Fille en Aiguilles- a las filas de nuestros perfumes de “bosque encantado”. Un nuevo favorito.

Annick Goutal Nuit Étoilée – A walk under the stars
Nuit Étoilée was created by Annick Goutal in-house nose Isabelle Doyen and launched in 2012. Its poetic name and cobalt blue flacon, evocative of moonlit sky, make for a combination that is hard to resist.
The opening is sparkly with notes of citron, sweet orange and peppermint. The fragrance seems to twinkle, oscillating between the warmth of the orange and the freshness of peppermint, a feel equivalent to biting into a chocolate mint where opposites enhance each other’s qualities.
Balsamic and resinous blasts blow through this eau de toilette painting, much like brushtrokes, a forest at nighttime. The greenness of peppermint -intensified by Siberian pine and balsam fir– makes us walk on damp earth, covered with dried leaves and (almost candied) pine needles. The always reassuring presence of tonka bean acts as a security blanket in this mysterious land.
Strangely bewitching, Nuit Étoilée has already joined -together with Ormonde Woman, Memoir Man and Fille en Aiguilles- the ranks of our “enchanted forest” fragrances. A new favorite.
