Annick Goutal es definitivamente una de mis casas favoritas. Sus fragancias exudan un refinamiento sutil y discreto que raramente se ve (¿huele?) en estos tiempos. Petite Chérie –que, junto con Eau d’Hadrien, es uno de los best sellers de la marca- fue creada por Annick Goutal, quien se inspiró para ello en su hija Camille.
Su evolución es simple: una nota jugosa (y dominante) de pera se fusiona con pasto recién cortado y aterciopelada rosa. La vainilla y el almizcle blanco, aportan calidez a la composición. En esta simpleza y despreocupación radica su encanto.
Es un perfume liviano, amigable, suave y que agrada fácilmente. A pesar de esta aparente inocencia, esconde una irresistible y alegre sensualidad y provoca con su nonchalance. Al rociarlo me evoca confitura de frutas, piel suave entibiada por el sol, ropa recién planchada y bouquets de flores en tonalidades pastel. Es dulce, pero nunca empalaga.
Petite Chérie sublima el aroma natural de la piel y no tiene gran proyección ni longevidad. Su etéreo velo frutado sólo es disfrutado por quien lo lleva y aquellos lo suficientemente afortunados como para acercarse.

Annick Goutal Petite Chérie – Nabokov’s Lolita
Annick Goutal is most definitely among my favorite houses. Their fragrances reek of a subtle refinement that is rarely seen (sniffed?) these days. Petite Chérie -which, along with Eau d’Hadrien, remains as one of the best sellers of the line- was created by Annick Goutal with her daughter Camille in mind.
Its evolution is simple: a juicy (and dominant) pear note melds with freshly cut grass and a velvety rose. Vanilla and white musk add warmth to the composition. In this simplicity and insouciance is where its charm lies.
It is a light, friendly, soft and easily likeable fragrance. Despite this apparent innocence, Petite Chérie hides an irresistible cheerful sensuality and provokes with its nonchalance. Upon spraying, it evokes to me fruit confitures, soft sunkissed skin, freshly ironed clothes and a bouquet of pastel colored flowers. Its sweetness never verges on cloying.
Petite Chérie sublimates the natural smell of the skin. It doesn’t project too far nor has great longevity. Its ethereal fruity veil is solely enjoyed by the wearer and by those fortunate enough to get close.
