Si hay algo disfrutable en la exuberancia, eso es la variedad. La chance de percibir la imagen completa y al mismo tiempo detenerse a probar cada detalle. La clave está en zambullirse… pero poco a poco.
Naturalmente, el creador de este eau de parfum conoce muy bien el secreto. El prolífico perfumista oriundo de Grasse, Jacques Cavallier, encuentra una placentera manera de guiar nuestro sentido del olfato hacia las profundidades de la dulzura. Las notas de Alchimie suenan un tanto intimidantes, pero no lo son en absoluto.
Primero, una bergamota balsámica atrapa nuestra atención. Luego una carnosa pulpa de durazno y ciruela emerge a la superficie. Las notas frutales son tibias y almibaradas, no estridentes y tajantes. Un almendrado corazón de lila, heliotropo y coco despliega sutiles acentos florales de rosa y jazmín.
Casi sin advertirlo, estamos en las dulces y cremosas notas de fondo. Vainilla, sándalo, haba tonka, caramelo y almizcle transmutan la exuberancia en simplicidad: un tibio y atalcado velo sobre la piel. Es un sillage muy duradero que denota femineidad y sensualidad.
Lamentablemente, esta fragancia -lanzada en 1998 por Rochas– fue discontinuada hace unos pocos años. Sin embargo sus fanáticos todavía siguen buscando ejemplares de esta hermosa botella (llena, si es posible) diseñada por Serge Mansau.

Rochas Alchimie de Rochas – Sweet exuberance
If there is something enjoyable in exuberance that is variety. The chance of perceiving the whole picture and, at the same time, stopping to try every detail. The key is to dive…but little by little.
Naturally, the creator of this eau de parfum knows very well the secret. The prolific Grasse born Jacques Cavallier finds a pleasant way to lead our sense of smell into the depths of sweetness. The notes of Alchimie sound a little intimidating, but they are not at all.
A balmy bergamot catches our attention first. Then fleshy pulp of peach and plum emerges to the surface. The fruity notes are warm and syrupy, not strident or sharp. An almondy heart of lilac, heliotrope and coconut shows subtle floral hints of rose and jasmine.
Almost without realizing it, we find ourselves in the sweet creamy base notes. Vanilla, sandalwood, tonka bean, caramel and musk transmute the exuberance in simplicity: a lukewarm and powdery veil on the skin. It’s a very long-lasting sillage that denotes femininity and sensuality.
Unfortunately this fragrance -launched in 1998 by Rochas– was discontinued a few years ago. But its fans still look for this beautiful bottle (full if possible) designed by Serge Mansau.
