Ramón Monegal Perfumes Cherry Musk – Dulce inocencia

Así de inocente y sin pretensiones como es Cherry Musk,  le tenía pavor. Temía que su parte cherry oliera sintética y pegajosa, parecida a un jarabe para la tos. Cuando se trata de perfumes, puedo tener éxito enfrentándome a la civeta más sucia, pero me acobardo ante la nota de fruta dulce promedio.

Apenas apliqué unas gotas de mi muestra en la muñeca, supe que no había razones para asustarse: sería difícil concebir una fragancia más inocente.  Este almizcle imposiblemente suave huele a piel tibia, con matices de cerezas, almendras y coco. La última es una nota difícil que puede aplastar a cualquier otra que se cruce en su camino y que a menudo huele tosca y brutal, pero aquí se presenta sutil -como el aroma del coco fresco– sumando calidez, dulzor y cierta corporeidad. La  cereza también es madura, jugosa y realista. Un delicado jazmín sin  trasfondos indólicos se entrelaza con las frutas prestando cremosidad al blend. A pesar de la profusión de notas aparentemente comestibles, Cherry Musk no es un gourmand. Resulta sin embargo una mezcla apetitosa, evocadora de días soleados, y excelente ejemplo de que un perfumes inofensivo no necesita ser insípido.

Lineal y limpio, Cherry Musk es un maravilloso parfum de peau para uso casual. Aunque se mantiene próximo a la piel, su longevidad es muy buena.

Ramón Monegal Perfumes Cherry Musk – Sweet innocence

As innocent and unassuming as Cherry Musk might be, I still was afraid of it. I feared the cherry part would smell synthetic and sticky, like cough syrup. When it comes to fragrance, I can suceed in braving the dirtiest civet but I cower before the average sweet fruit note.

No sooner had I dabbed my sample on, I realized there was nothing to fear: it would be difficult to conceive a more innocent fragrance. This impossibly soft musk smells of warm skin, with hints of cherry, almonds and coconut. The latter is a tricky note that can crush any other note that happens to cross its path and oftentimes smells coarse and brutish, but here it appears subtle -like the scent of fresh coconut–  and adds warmth, sweetness and a certain corporeality. The cherry is also ripe, juicy and realistic. A delicate jasmine with no indolic undercurrents  intertwines itself around the fruits lending creaminess to the blend. Despite the profusion of seemingly edible notes, Cherry Musk is not a gourmand. It results, nonetheless, in a mouthwatering concoction, evocative of sunny Summer days. and an excellent example that inoffensive fragrances need not be insipid

Linear and clean, Cherry Musk is a wonderful parfum de peau for casual wear. Although it doesn’t project far, its longevity is very good.
