¿Cuándo pedimos deseos? ¿Al soplar un diente de león? ¿O mientras arrojamos una moneda a una fuente? ¿O quizás cuando observamos una estrella fugaz cruzando los cielos?
Todos esos son instantes extraordinarios, sin embargo pedimos deseos más a menudo de lo que creemos. Por ejemplo, cuando planeamos objetivos en la vida, cuando tomamos una resolución o haciendo sólo una simple wishlist.
Caro hizo su listado de perfumes deseados (en la forma de una temprana carta a Papá Noel) hace un par de días. Pero yo [SPOILER para los niños… y para algunos adultos] que ya sé que Papá Noel no existe (¡pero me gustaría!) he escrito la mía propia, simplemente a modo de lista de compras. Sí, ya sé que no hay magia alguna en esa perspectiva, pero sí hay voluntad de soñar.
Mi criterio comprende adquirir fragancias que ya haya probado y que no pude comprar en su momento. Si es posible, elegiré la máxima concentración y las botellas más pequeñas disponibles (el armario donde guardo mis perfumes me lo agradecerá).
Etat Libre d’Orange Putain des Palaces se trata de un interesante contraste entre la cremosa combinación de violetas, absoluto de rosas y polvo de arroz con lo especiado del comino. Lo siento como un delicado sweater de angora.
Chanel Les Exclusifs Sycomore es uno de los items que quedaron pendientes de la lista del año pasado. Me encanta su contundencia amaderada realzada con pimienta pero endulzada con sándalo y tabaco.
Les Néréides Patchouli Antique fue una degustación reciente con la que caí enamorada instantáneamente. Es terroso pero ambarado al mismo tiempo. Es un sencillo, delicioso y perfecto patchouli.
Mikmoi Aldwych es un elegante, verde y licoroso eau de parfum. Su aridez es salada pero floral, mezclando clavel, lavanda y ajenjo. Sin duda alguna, es uno de mis indie-unisex favoritos.
Jovoy Paris Gardez-Moi fue una especie de arrobamiento a primera vez que lo olí. No puedo quitar de mi cabeza la casi táctil sensación de flores blancas: absoluto de jazmín egipcio y gardenia, ensamblados con mimosa, vainilla y musgo de roble.
Ayala Moriel Parfums Espionage es otto de los que tengo pendiente. Su asombrosa y cautivante complejidad está hecha de ingredientes naturales. Comienza bastante ahumado pero el orris, la vainilla y el cuero realizan la transmutación a una sensual y femenina poción.
¿Sólo seis botellas de perfume en 2014? Sí, sin tener en cuenta aquellas que puedan conquistarme en el camino.

Listing desired perfumes
When do we exactly make a wish? is it at the moment we blow on a dandelion? Or while we drop a coin in a fountain? Or when we watch a shooting star cross the skies?
All those are extraordinary instants, however we make wishes more often than we think. For instance, when we plan life goals, when we take resolutions or just assemble a simple wishlist.
Caro wrote her perfume list (in the shape of in advance letter to Santa) a couple of days ago. But I [SPOILER ALERT for children… and some adults] already know that Santa doesn’t exist so I’ve written my own one just as shopping list. Yes, I know that there is no magic in this perspective but there is will to dream.
My criteria here is limited to perfume that I have tried before but was unable to purchase at the time. If is it possible, I will chose the higher concentration and smaller size available (my fragrance drawer will be grateful for that).
Etat Libre d’Orange Putain des Palaces shows an interesting contrast between a creamy combination of violets, rose absolute and rice powder with spicy cumin. I think of it as a tiny angora sweater.

Mikmoi Aldwych is an elegant, green and liqueur-like eau de parfum. Its dryness is salty but floral at the same time, since it blends carnation, lavender and absinthe. Without a doubt, one of my unisex indie favs.
Jovoy Paris Gardez-Moi was a kind of rapture the first time I smelled it. I can’t get out of my head the almost tactile sensation of white flowers: Egyptian jasmine absolute and gardenia assembled with mimosa and vanilla and oakmoss.
Ayala Moriel Parfums Espionage is another pending one. Its amazing and captivating complexity is made with natural materials. It starts pretty smoky but orris, vanilla and leather do the transmutation to a sensual and feminine potion.
Only six fragrances bottles in 2014? Yes, not counting those that might conquer me along the way.
