Dolce Riso (arroz dulce) fue compuesto por el creador de Calé , Silvio Levi, y el nariz. Maurizio Cerizza. Aunque su nombre podría anticipar un gourmand, no lo es. La casa describe esta fragancia simple y sin pretensiones como un ámbar suave, pero yo lo percibo más como un almizcle suave.
Este despreocupado eau de toilette emana una alegría serena. Abre dulce y revitalizante, con crujientes notas de manzana y una lima muy realista. Temerosos de los frutichoulis ¡a no temblar! La cualidad frutal es aquí muy fresca y delicada. Lo que sigue después es un corazón seco, tibio y reconfortante de arroz y cereales que en verdad parece nutrir el alma. El fondo, aún más cálido, es todo vainilla, haba tonka y almizcles blancos.
Las notas mencionadas podrían, quizás, ser reminiscentes de Lann Aël, pero mientras Lann Aël resulta mucho más cálido y encaja en la descripción de un gourmand, Dolce Riso es más fresco, nunca se torna azucarado y posee una espíritu primaveral. Ambos, sin embargo, son placeres simples que comparten un aura protectora y envolvente.
Dolce Riso huele como las mejillas de un bebé o -quizás- de un querubín, tal es la pureza y belleza inocente que transmite. Es un perfume discreto, para nada invasivo y de buena longevidad para su concentración eau de toilette.

Calé Dolce Riso – Sweet tenderness
Dolce Riso (sweet rice) was composed by Calé creator Silvio Levi and nose Maurizio Cerizza. Although its name could anticipate a gourmand, it is not. The house describes this simple and unpretentious fragrance as a soft amber, but I find it to be more of a soft musk.
This carefree eau de toilette exudes a serene joy. It opens sweet and uplifting, with crisp notes of apple and a very realistic lime. Fruitchouli fearers, be not afraid! The fruitiness here is very delicate and fresh. What follows next is a dry, warm, comforting heart of rice and cereal that seems to truly nourish the soul. The base, even warmer, is all about vanilla, tonka bean and white musks.
The notes mentioned might be somehow reminiscent of Lann Aël, but while Lann Aël is much warmer and fits the description of a gourmand, Dolce Riso is fresher, never becomes sugary and possesses a springlike spirit. Both of them, though, are simple pleasures that share a protective, cocooning aura.
Dolce Riso smells like the cheek of a baby or -perhaps- of a cherub, such is the purity and innocent beauty it conveys. It is a discreet fragrance, not at all invasive and with decent longevity for its eau de toilette concentration.
