Artemisia Golden Hour – Cremosas margaritas

Esos breves momentos entre el día y la noche (justo después del amanecer y antes del atardecer) llamados Golden Hour u Hora Dorada* es uno de mis favoritos de la jornada: todo luce no perfecto sino mágico, es como casi 30 minutes soñando con los ojos abiertos. Y desde ya, si no estoy demasiado hipnotizada, me encanta tomar un montón de fotografías.

Artemisia ha decidido homenajear a ese tibio momento de luz perfecta con su nuevo eau de parfum. Golden Hour inicia floral, bastante verde y astringente. La fusión de tuberosa con dama de la noche (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) evoca la fragancia de una corpulenta margarita. Cognac y vainilla derraman sobre ella un matiz ambarado, dulce y cremoso. Es un romántico y onírico resplandor dorado.

Sombras sutiles como de té negro aparecen y desaparecen. Este aspecto ensambla muy bien con la nota de gálbano porque enfatiza la estructura verde, traza las hojas y el tallo; se torna en el corazón de esta composición de la perfumista Lisa Fong. El delicado trazo final, como un todo, huele a osmanto, una de mis materias primas preferidas.

Adoro el brillo cremoso que tiene esta fragancia. Es liviano pero al mismo tiempo denso, como la niebla que flota al ras del suelo.

Artemisia Golden Hour – Creamy daisies

Those brief moments between day and night (just after sunrise and before sunset) called Golden Hour* are one of my favorites: everything seems not perfect but magical, it is like 30 minutes of daydreaming. And, of course, when I’m not too mesmerized by it, I love to take a lot of photographs.

Artemisia has decided to honor that warm moment of perfect light with its new eau de parfum. Golden Hour starts floral, heavily green and astringent. The fusion between tuberose and night queen (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) evokes a full-bodied daisy fragrance. Cognac and vanilla shed an ambery, sweet and creamy hue on it. It’s a romantic and oniric golden glow.

Subtle bitter shadows, reminiscent of black tea, alternately show up and disappear. This aspect is flawlessly assembled with the galbanum note because emphasizes the green structure and outlines the leaves and stem; it becomes the heart of perfumer Lisa Fong‘s composition. The delicate drydown as a whole smells like osmanthus, one of my favorite raw materials.

I love the creamy radiance of this fragrance. It’s lightweight but substantial at the same time, like fog floating at ground level.
