El packaging simple y modesto contiene un perfume tan suave y cálido como la cachemira: con L’Inspiratrice (2006), Parfums Divine honra una vez más el concepto de lujo discreto. Compuesto por el nariz Richard Ibañez –quien también colaboró con la casa en la creación de Spirituelle y epónimo Divine– ofrece una belleza de proporciones clásicas y calidad sobresaliente.
L’Inspiratrice es un floral oriental denso y de evolución bastante lineal. Orquestado alrededor de la probada combinación rosa-patchouli, exuda un aura de misterio y elegancia bohemia. No resulta, sin embargo, arcano para los legos. Fundidos en un abrazo perfectamente calibrado, ninguno de los protagonistas atrae la atención por sobre el otro. Si la rosa aparece oscura, aterciopelada y rodeada de espinas; el patchouli está refinado a la enésima potencia. Un dulzor tácito existe en la cantidad mínima necesaria para ofrecer contrapeso al característico olor mohoso del patchouli que fácilmente podría imponerse. El cremoso aliento narcótico del ylang ylang, siempre evocador de los trópicos, infunde una sensualidad relajada a la fragancia. Este aspecto voluptuoso se realza con una vainilla opulenta, almizcle y el rastro atalcado del haba tonka. La tenacidad es excelente, como podría esperarse de estas notas y concentración.

Parfums Divine L’Inspiratrice extrait – Bohemian chic
A simple and unassuming packaging holds a perfume as soft and warm as cashmere: with L’Inspiratrice (2006), Parfums Divine honors once more the concept of understated luxury. Composed by nose Richard Ibañez –who also collaborated with the house in the creation of Spirituelle and the eponymous Divine– it offers a beauty of classic proportions and outstanding quality.
L’Inspiratrice is a dense floral oriental of fairly linear development. Orchestrated around the tried and true rose-patchouli pairing, it exudes an aura of mystery and bohemian elegance. It is not, however, arcane to the uninitiated. Fused in a perfectly calibrated embrace, neither protagonist stands out. If the rose appears dark, velvety and surrounded by thorns; the patchouli is refined to the nth degree. A tacit sweetness exists in minute amounts, necessary to counterweigh the characteristic mustiness of the patchouli which could easily overpower the blend. The creamy narcotic breath of ylang ylang, ever evocative of the tropics, infuses a relaxed sensuality into the fragrance. This voluptuous aspect is heightened by rich vanilla, musk and the powdery trail of tonka bean. The tenacity is excellent, as one would expect from these notes and concentration.
